24-26 September
Parihaka, Taranaki
The Scientific Conference kicks off at approximately 2pm on 24 September 2010 straight after the Hui A Tau finishes (and lunch of course). The Scientific Conference will be really interesting this year, starting with feedback from our members that went to the recent PRIDOC hui in Canada, and the study in Cuba. Various doctors have provided a range of interesting abstracts including 'Climate Change and Māori health: a call to action'; 'Renal transplantation issues'; 'Cancer and the heart'; and 'Rheumatic heart disease screening project'.
A programme for the Scientific Conference will be available from 10 September 2010, check back then.
(Last updated 1 September 2010)
The conference was held on 11-13 September 2009.
You can download the conference handbook, proceedings and presentations below.
We'd like to thank everyone who attended for their valuable input!
Many thanks again to our sponsors, the Ministry of Health, Pharmac, GSK, the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners and Ngā Pae o Te Māramatanga for helping us to make this another successful event.
