Te ORA received the Ministry of Health Te Ao Auahatanga Hauora Māori/Māori Health Innovations Funding to undertake a Māori Clinical and Specialist Leadership project. The aim of the project is to mentor junior Māori doctors into specialist training in high Māori health need areas.
The project is underway and is in the research phase. A reference group, Te Whatu, is established with a combination of Senior Māori Specialists who oversee the project. The project is managed by the Te ORA office, so if you have any questions about it, would like to participate in the project, please call or email us teora@teora.maori.nz.
We’ll be providing regular updates through the website.
